Cesspool

The Cesspool is essentially a kind combined septic tank/drain field. The basic functional principles of septic systems apply to cesspools. As with septic tanks the solid materials settle to the bottom of the cesspool, and are digested by anaerobic bacteria. The cesspool, a hole (well), which is usually lined with stone, brick, or masonry blocks, has openings that allow the water (effluent) to filter out of the cesspool into the surrounding soil.

Cesspool

The Major Problem with Cesspools

is that over time, greases, oils, soap scum, small solid particles (gunk) build up on the walls of the cesspools, resulting in a clogged cesspool. These layers of scum buildup prevent the water from filtering through the walls of the cesspool at the normal rate. As a result, the cesspool starts to fill up with water. When the cesspool fills up with water, it must be pumped out to avoid backups into the household. The clogged cesspool will continually fill up with water, and will cause frequent cesspool pumping. Regular cesspool emptying with cesspool pumping will not solve the problem.

Without corrective action, such as cesspool repair (digging it up) or cesspool replacement (putting in a new cesspool), the build up of scum on the cesspool walls will continue, increasingly requiring more frequent pump outs. In extreme cases the walls of cesspools do not allow water to pass through at all. The cesspool has essentially become a holding tank, requiring pumping every two to three months, because the cesspool is not draining, and needs to be emptied of water frequently.

Septic-Free F1 Super Strength is specifically engineered to remove all the gunk that has accumulated on the walls and bottom of the cesspool. Its super concentrated enzymes and bacteria will eliminate the need for cesspool repair, or cesspool replacement. After using Septic-Free F1 Super, there will be no need for future cesspool pumping, or cesspool cleaning.

Use Septic-Free Regular for cesspool maintenance. This ensures that problems will not come back or prevent cesspool problems from developing in the first place.
